Basic Skirt and Top for Tonner and similiar 16” dolls (e.g. Ellowyne etc.)


Yes, it is with the Tonner doll again. I have a new dollieh and she needs clothes 😉 Today we have a lovely ensemble of basics – a long skirt (easily adaptable for shorter skirts) with a matching short sleeved shirt. The skirt was strongly inspired by a lovely free pattern for Monster High (German pattern though, look for “Kleid in zwei Varianten” on ravelry. Pink Mermaid Dress with Shrug


Recently I bought a very nice custom repainted Jane Boolittle doll from ebay. As she came nekkid, I already had a little mermaid dress with a shrug in pink waiting for her:

Unfortunately, I do not know who did this repaint, but it is really nice 🙂 (If you know the artist, please let me know so I can link properly).

The mermaid dress is a very easy knit. The pattern can be found for free here on ravelry. I omitted the rib pattern in the skirt, as I like a straight skirt 🙂

The little shrug is not as easy, but also a quick knit and gorgeous for all these shoulder-free dresses (free pattern).
